Back to School: Getting Started with connectED

For teachers, master code holders, and administrators that use McGraw-Hill Education’s connectED.

We’d like to welcome you to the 2016–2017 School Year. We hope that your summer was exciting, rejuvenating, and full of learning opportunities that you will share with your students throughout the coming year.

Just as you will start your class with the “Ways to Have a Great Year”, we thought it would be helpful if we could do the same for you in preparing your McGraw-Hill Education digital resources.

Things to keep in mind:

  • You already have a McGraw-Hill Education connectED account (login) that you created, or that was created on your behalf. Please continue to use that same account. All of your McGraw-Hill Education connectED based digital content can be in your single account.
  • If you do not remember your password, please go to: https://connected.mcgraw-hill.com, enter your username, and select “Forgot Your Password?” This will prompt you to answer your security question and type in your new password. If you have forgotten your security question please contact Digital Technical Support at 1–800–437–3715 or at epgtech@mheducation.com
  • If the username provided above does not match your records, please go to https://connected.mcgraw-hill.com and select Forgot Your Username? This will prompt you to submit your email address used during your registration. Your username will be sent to the email provided.
  • If you self-manage the digital resources, remember that you should Create a Class and Assign Content to the students. You can find step-by-step instructions online and selecting on the Instructions for Teachers and following the instructions in Step 4 and Step 5. Be aware that students may have existing accounts; please check before registering or importing them again.
  • We recommend that you delete any existing classes from previous school years. Please note that when you delete existing classes, association to assignment data will be lost once the class is deleted. Any customized Lesson Plans will need to be printed before the class is deleted.
